Privacy Policy

What this site collects - and what it deliberately doesn't

Last updated: September 2026

The short version

This site runs no analytics, sets no cookies, and uses no advertising or tracking services. Nothing you read here is logged against you. The only personal information involved is what you choose to type into the contact form, and it is used for one thing: replying to you.

Who is responsible

This site is operated by Benoît Saint-Moulin (BSM3D), Belgium. For any question about this policy or about your data, use the contact form.

No analytics, no cookies

Third-party requests

Two things on this site are loaded from outside servers, and your browser necessarily contacts them to fetch those files:

The contact form

If you send a message through the contact form, it collects what you type into it: your name (optional), your email address, a subject, a request type, and your message. This is transmitted to this site's own server and forwarded so it can be read and answered.

Server logs

Like essentially all web hosting, the server hosting this site may keep standard technical access logs (IP address, date and time, page requested, browser type). These are a normal byproduct of running a web server, are used only for security and troubleshooting, and are not used to build any profile of you.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to ask for access to the personal data held about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, and to receive a copy of it. In practice, for this site that only ever concerns a message you have sent through the contact form.

To exercise any of these rights, write via the contact form. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority (dataprotectionauthority.be).

Children

This site is aimed at 3D artists, developers and students, and is not directed at children under 16. No information is knowingly collected from them.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes - for instance if a service that collects data is ever added - this page will be updated and the date at the top changed. Should tracking of any kind ever be introduced, it will be stated here plainly.
